Privacy Policy

FRAME (“we”, “us”) is an art discovery and collecting app operated by BETTERLAND LTD (Company No. 17451371, England and Wales). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it. It applies to the FRAME mobile app and joinframe.art.

What we collect

Account details. Your e-mail address, username, display name, optional profile photo and bio, and your date of birth (used once, to verify you meet the minimum age — it is stored separately and never shown publicly).

Content you create. Artworks you upload, collections, reviews and ratings, comments, exhibition rooms, and your profile.

Usage signals. Interactions with the feed (for example passing or framing a work) used to personalise what you see, and a push notification token if you enable notifications.

From the waitlist form. Your e-mail address and the role you selected, used only to contact you about FRAME.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and we do not sell personal data. FRAME shows no third-party advertising.

How content is moderated

Uploaded images are automatically screened (Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch) and may be reviewed by our team. Content that breaks our rules can be removed and repeated abuse can pause uploading or end an account.

Where your data lives

Data is stored with Google Firebase in the European Union (Frankfurt), with images served through Cloudflare and video through European CDN infrastructure. Transactional e-mail (verification codes, waitlist confirmations) is delivered by Resend.

Retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account) or as described on our account deletion page — this removes your profile, content and personal data, except minimal records we must keep for safety and legal compliance (for example moderation logs).

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under UK/EU GDPR and Türkiye’s KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, and to object to processing. Write to hello@joinframe.art and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

FRAME is not directed at children under 13, and sign-up is gated by date of birth. If you believe a child is using FRAME, contact us and we will remove the account.
