Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and BETTERLAND LTD for using the FRAME app and joinframe.art. By creating an account you accept them.

Your account

You must meet the minimum age asked at sign-up and provide accurate details. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account.

Your content & our rules

You keep ownership of everything you upload. By posting it to FRAME you give us a non-exclusive licence to host, display and process it so the app can work (including generating thumbnails and showing your public content to other users).

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content: no sexual content involving minors, no nudity presented outside a clearly artistic context, no hate speech, harassment, threats, gore, spam, or content that infringes someone else’s rights. Every image is screened automatically at upload, users can report any artwork, review, collection or user from inside the app, and block other users. We act on reports within 24 hours — removing content and, for repeated or serious abuse, suspending or terminating accounts.

Intellectual property

Upload only work you created or have the right to share. Museum imagery shown in FRAME is used with attribution from open-access sources. If you believe content on FRAME infringes your rights, e-mail hello@joinframe.art with the details and we will take it down promptly while we review.

Purchases

Some features may be offered as paid subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewal and refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under their terms.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time in the app or via our account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.

The boring but important part

FRAME is provided “as is”; to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any clause is found invalid, the rest still stands. We may update these terms and will note the date above; continuing to use FRAME means you accept the update.
